Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were outdated and could do with a makeover, giving off a tired and old vibe. Although the unit faced away from the city, the view was disappointing. On the bright side, the staff was very polite, helpful, and friendly, offering excellent service. The location was average but convenient for a short stay, with a few minor inconveniences. The dining experience was subpar, with almost raw bacon and hard toast. However, the complimentary water was a nice touch. Overall, the hotel has room for improvement but offers decent value for a short stay.
The hotel is in a prime location near Howard Smith Wharves and the Story Bridge, offering a spacious room with a river view. While the room could use an update, the separation between beds is ideal for families. The service was efficient, but a lack of warmth was noticeable. The hotel's proximity to various attractions and dining options is a major plus, though the dining experience left much to be desired due to limited breakfast options.
Upon arrival, the room was ready at the check-in time, but it needed some serious work as there were marks on the walls and cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The hotel is centrally located and accommodated our requests. However, I had an unfortunate experience of my rental car getting broken into in the supposedly secured car park.
The hotel could have been an excellent place to stay if they took better care of their guests. It felt a bit tired in looks and facilities, and the rooms were a little smaller than anticipated. However, being on level 3 and directly above the swimming pool added a unique touch to the experience.
The hotel had a disappointing room with a view of a concrete wall, but the staff made up for it with their exceptional service. The location was fine, though not the cleanest, and the dining experience was underwhelming despite some positives. Overall, a mixed experience.
